Benito Califano at EST srl is a researcher. In 2020 earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering in the academic year 2019-2020 from the University of Salerno, with a thesis in the field of Industrial Engineering applied to Pharmaceutical Chemistry entitled “Production of bioadhesive nanoliposomes using a quasi-microfluidic technique”. This thesis enabled him to complete an internship at the GruppoTPP laboratories of the University of Salerno.
Subsequently, he obtained a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering in the academic year 2022-2023 from the Department of Information Engineering at the University of Padua, with a Master’s thesis in the field of Machine Learning applied to Clinical Engineering and Predictive Medicine, entitled “Machine learning methods applied to virtual populations of type 2 diabetes patients”.
Since April 2023, he has been working at EST srl, where he has been involved in various projects such as “Alcolino”, “EcceBio”, and ”SimGAT”, primarily focusing on IT and electronic aspects.
Between February and April 2024, thanks to the collaboration between Professor Gaetano Lamberti and the ITS Energy Lab institute in Benevento, he taught two courses on “Fundamentals of Physics” and “Thermodynamics”.
